MOTORCYCLE RUN AND CAR SHOW TO BENEFIT WIDOWS AND CHILDREN

Saturday, June 20, 2009 MOTORCYCLE RUN AND CAR SHOW TO BENEFIT WIDOWS AND CHILDREN Members of the Nassau County Sheriff Officers Association, along with friends, family and members of the community will host a two part event, consisting of a Motorcycle Run followed by a Classic Car Show in an effort to raise funds to support the Widows and Childrens Fund of the Nassau County Sheriff Officers Association. The event will begin with a police escorted motorcycle run starting on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale. The caravan of motorcycles will travel 32 miles to the 2nd event, a Classic/Muscle Car Show at Bald Hill in Farmingville, where there will also be a barbeque hosted by Famous Daves along with musical entertainment by Joe Rock from WBAB and performances by Gina Cutillo and the Kerry Kearney Band. This is the organizations largest event of the year. This is a fun, family event that brings the community together to support other families in need. It is a very worthwhile cause and the public and their families are encouraged to attend. Registration for the motorcycle run will be from 9:00 am 10:15 am at 60 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard. The entrance fee is $20.00 per vehicle and includes admission to the car show. Admission to the car show alone is $10.00 per person; children 12 and under are free.
